The electronic Air Safety Report (ASR) makes life easier for the flight deck crew as they can simply click at the bottom of their electronic Voyage Report (EVR) screen and up comes the electronic template for the ASR with all the known information on the relevant flight already pre-populated. The ASR can then be submitted on-line to the airline Safety Officer in addition to the Regulatory Authority if required.

The Rainmaker system provides a module for creation and processing of various types of 'Filed Reports'.

These are reports that would normally be completed by Flight Crew via paper based forms. The following electronic forms are available:

The system is designed to replace an 'existing paper based reports processes and is managed within an in-house database. The goal of the safety reports project is to provide airlines with a number of electronic forms that are used by Flight and Cabin Crew and Engineering to report safety issue and occurrences, as well as service reports, then to provide a workflow to support internal management process.
